10+ year supply commitment, inventory management, buffer stock and advance EOL notification — for products that stay in the field longer than a consumer refresh cycle.
| Longevity | A 10+ year supply commitment on the parts we distribute, backed by the vendor's own longevity programme. |
|---|---|
| Second sourcing | RISC-V is implemented by many silicon vendors. Because the ISA is a standard, moving between vendors does not force a firmware rewrite from scratch the way a proprietary ISA change does. |
| Buffer stock | Agreed buffer held against your forecast, released against a schedule. |
| EOL notification | Advance notice of end-of-life, with a last-time-buy window and a migration path where one exists. |
Is the 10-year commitment a contractual guarantee?
It is a supplier commitment that we pass through, not an unconditional bond. The commercial terms are stated on the quotation for each part.
What happens if a part goes EOL anyway?
You get advance notice and a last-time-buy window. We will also propose a migration target within the same family where one exists.
